Cloth in Common

A great day for me is one in which I can play with my collection of thrift store shirts, skirts, pants and dresses, cutting the fabrics and arranging scenes onto batting for a new quilt.

My art quilts reflect my delight in pattern, variety and contrast.
I enjoy raw edge hand appliqued, collaged pieces. I am fascinated by human faces and figures. Many of my quilts tell personal stories of my family and experiences.

I am grateful to be a member of Studio Art Quilt Associates (SAQA), an organization that challenges me with thought provoking challenges for their international exhibits of fiber art. SAQA has enabled me to share my quilts with others worldwide.
