I walked through ‘Insadong' street and entered an exhibition hall by chance.

There I saw a quilt exhibition. It was very different from the quilt I knew. It was an 'art work'. I was deeply shocked and impressed, and began to art quilt in earnest.

I work on simplifying objects and working on abstract themes.

​

It is very attractive to tear, attach, patch and quilt fabrics. so I use it a lot.

​

I usually use red color in my work. 'red' is my favorite color and represents  me.

​

Nowadays, I dye, print and paint on fabric. That is very fun.

 

I am looking forward to see how these things affect my pieces in the future.
