Happy Hour
My artist husband and I share studio space, but have a “no-talking” rule during the day so that we can each concentrate.
At 5 PM we stop for Happy Hour. In the summer we go to our porch or patio with a glass of wine and enjoy watching the birds and looking at our land and yard.
In the winter we sit in designated “talking chairs,” light candles, and drink a glass of wine.
We can then really talk. Whatever has been on our minds all day, or whatever plans we want to discuss.
Time stands still. It is my favorite time of the day.
