Le maroc

Morocco, a North African state on the Atlantic and Mediterrranean, is characterized by the cultural influences of the Berbers, Arabs and Europeans.

Every year since 2017, I have been going on an art trip with friends from my art class to Morocco every spring. In my luggage I have my camera and my drawing and watercolor utensils. Out of these trips, I draw infinite potential. The colors and the light in Morocco are unique. It radiates an aura of the unknown and exotic, the shining of the light and colors, a fascination of artistic inspiration and self-realization.

Paul Klee wrote in his diary on his Tunis trip in April 1914 : "I leave the work now. It penetrates me so deeply and gently, I feel that and become so secure, without diligence. The color has me. I do not need to hurry after this. She has me forever, I know that. That is the sense of the happy hour: me and the colors are one. I am an artist."
